Ali Taptık, ArchieveSET 14.0, 2017, Installation, short story

Taptık’s diagram depicts systems and working principles of ArchieveSET 14.0, a future platform enabling and controlling access to information, academic and nonacademic databases, and more importantly archived “disprivatized” social media content and cloud data storage. Referenced in a series of short stories Taptık has written for various cultural publications, where a coherent future vision is sustained through repeated references to certain cultural and technological concepts. ArchieveSET 14.0 is an essential part of this series of short stories.

Along with ArchieveSET 14.0, Taptık will also reveal the previously published Unaligned Love (Resistance and Resignation, 2015) and Green Man at Allianoi (Graft, 2016).
