On November 16, 2011, Mithat Alam Film Center hosted actor and director Zeki Alasya for a discussion. Moderated by film critic Olkan Özyurt, Alasya talked about a range of issues from his years as a student at Robert College and his theatre career to his transition to cinema and directing.
On the same week, the center screened Alasya’s films including Mavi Boncuk (Blue Bead, 1974), Köyden İndim Şehire (From the Village to the City, 1974), Güle Güle (Goodbye, 2000) and Rus Gelin (Russian Bride, 2003).
