In her recent video work Be the Doctor, Practice Nursing, we come across the image of a pair of frozen budgies that the artist takes out of a refrigerator and resuscitates. After the confusion of the waking period fades, the birds take off. Through her new work series titled In the Uncertain Light of Single, Certain Truth, the artist is thinking about the prospects of liberated desire in the current state of the world.
